Rules & Regulations
Mode of admission
The prospectus and application form will be available from the office on payment of Rs. 75- by cash or MO or DD. Rs. 100/-
The application form duly completed should be submitted along with the following documents.
     a) Photostat attested copy of certificates in proof of qualification.
     b) Photostat or attested copy of caste certificate in case of Scheduled Caste/Tribe candidates.
Admission to the course will be based on aptitude test.
Selected candidates should be accompanied by their Parent/Guardian at the time of admission and should produce the following:
    a) Two passport size photographs.
    b) Original qualification certificate.
    c) Original conduct and Transfer certificate from the institution last attended.
    d) Original caste Certificate (applicable only for scheduled caste and tribe candidate).
    e) Three attested copies of the S.S.L.C. Book.

Fees should be paid on or before 10th of every month. Those who fail to remit the fee on or before 10th will be required to pay the same before 20th with a fine of Rs. 10/- and at the rate of Rs.2/- for every following day upto the 30th. No student shall be allowed to attend the class, if he fails to remit the fee on the final date.
Fees once paid will not be refunded or transferred under any circumstances.
Students are not allowed to sit for the final examination unless all dues are cleared.
After admission a student or his parent/ guardian is bound to pay the entire amount of fees even if the student terminates his course at the institute before the due time. This is strictly required for obtaining from the office, all the certificates and papers connected with his career. No Special Fees is collected from the students apart from the fees mentioned in the fee schedule.

Leave & Attendance
No student, will be allowed to absent himself from the class without proper leave letter.
In case of illness prolonging more than one week, a medical certificate issued by a medical officer, should be produced. A student who absents himself from the class during any hour of the day, without leave, will
be considered absent for the whole day and will lose one day’s attendance.
Late comers will not be allowed to enter the class.
Students are not allowed to leave the class room without the permission of the teacher in charge.
A student who has less than 80% of the total attendance. He/She is not eligible to appear for the final examination.

Duration of the courses & hours of work
The academic year will be from 1st August to July.
The institute will remain closed during Onam and Christmas holidays as notified by the Director of Technical Education.
The number of working hours will be fixed at seven and half hours per day. Second Satur day and Sundays will be a holiday.
Trainees will be allowed all holidays, fixed by the Director of Training.
It has been noted that most students are weak in English language and are unable to ex press themselves in English. Special classes are arranged for Communicative English for such students without collecting any additional fees.

Uniform & Working dress
All the trainees are required to wear uniform and working dress form the very first working day itself. If is a strict condition that a trainee will be allowed to enter the Institution only with the prescribed uniform, stitched, as per the direction of the principal. Working dress should be worn in workshops and uniform inside the class rooms.

Identity Card
Each trainee will be issued an identity card, valid for the complete period of his training in this institution.
Duplicate identity card will be issued on payment of a fine of Rs. 50/- and on applica tion by the trainee to the Principal, if he is convinced that the same, issued at the time of admission, is irrecoverably lost.
The identify cards shall be returned at the time of completion of training or discharge, or dismissal.

Monthly Examination
Monthly tests are conducted once in 30 days, in all the subjects, of all trades / courses.
Progress reports are kept upto date so as to assess the progress of the trainee at a glance.
Report of those trainees whose performance is not progressive, will be sent to the parent/ guardian.

Trainees should maintain strict discipline in the institution.
If any complaints are informed to the parent/ guardian of the trainee, he should contact the
Principal immediately. The principal reserves the right to cancel or alter the rules whenever necessary and the stu dents will have to abide by it.
Not withstanding anything contained elsewhere, the principal reserves the right to suspend, discharge or dismiss any trainee, without assigning any reason there of. His decision is final and unquestionable on any account.
Under no circumstances students will be allowed to bring mobile phones to the class room.
If it’s found that they are bringing the phone to the class it will be confiscated and returned only after completing the course.
